The Tule River Tribe and the Tule River Gaming Authority won the 2022 Small Deal of the Year Award from the NAFOA based in Seattle, Washington. The NAFOA Leadership awards honor the accomplishments of a tribal leader, tribal executive, and financial deals advancing tribal economies. The Tule River Tribe was honored for closing a $175 million syndicated bank financing for the construction of the new Eagle Mountain Casino next to the Porterville Fairgrounds in Porterville, CA.
The relocation of Eagle Mountain Casino will provide access to major roads and highways and provide significant economic benefits, public safety, and community improvement to the City of Porterville. In addition, the relocation project will create 300 new full and part-time jobs and the construction of the new casino, creating hundreds of temporary employment that benefit the surrounding community and the people of Porterville. The Tule River Tribe, the State of California, Tulare County, and the City of Porterville have worked for decades to secure federal and state approval to move Eagle Mountain Casino to a new site. The new Eagle Mountain Casino will double in size from the original property, growing to over 100,000 square feet, featuring new dining options. 1,750 slot machines, 20 table games and a state of the art event center.
Currently, Eagle Mountain Casino, is located 17 miles east of Porterville, and is a full-service casino owned and operated by the Tule River Tribe. Guests must be 18 years of age to enter. The casino is open 24/7. The Grizzly Food court is open 24/7 and the River Steakhouse is open Friday – Sunday from 5pm – 10pm. Eagle Mountain Casino is a short drive from Bakersfield or Visalia.
The new casino property is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2022, off Highway 65 in Porterville, CA next to the Porterville Fair Grounds. The new property will double in size growing to over 100,000 square feet, featuring new dining options, 1750 slot machines, 20 table games, and a state-of-the-art event center.
