(Eagle Mountain Casino, Porterville, CA 93257) – The People’s Casino introduces Jose Almono, Manager of the Environmental Service Department. Almono has been in the casino industry for seven years. Currently, he is managing the Environmental Service Department and overseeing all things sanitization. Almono plays a significant role in ensuring the People’s Casino meets all the steps necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment. Cleanliness is a top priority for everyone on the team as the Casino wants to ensure all of its guests are safe and their team.
Almono explains his journey has always been a positive experience, even throughout COVID, where others may have seen it as a disadvantage. Almono seized the opportunity to ensure the safety of the guests, and the team was always a priority. In addition, Almono encouraged an even more meticulous sanitation routine that the department will now be enforcing with the opening of the upcoming Casino to promote an even healthier environment.
Almono feels confident in his ability to operate the environmental service department and is excited about what is already in store for the Casino and its guests. After visiting the new property for the first time, he was astonished by the size and stated that once the doors open and the ball starts rolling, he will have his hands full, as will everyone else on the Eagle Mountain Casino team.
Currently, Almono is responsible for establishing procedures to ensure everything runs as efficiently as possible for the entire environmental service department. Part of that process includes interviewing for available positions for the Casino relocation. Eagle Mountain Casino is currently hiring new team members to open the new Casino. He anticipates a high volume of traffic coming through the casino doors as soon as it opens and knows it will take a fantastic group of people to make it work.
Overall, Almono concluded by saying the history of the Casino has come so far over the years, and opening its doors is genuinely an achievement everyone should be proud of.
