Dozens of charities and organizations have benefited from Casino revenues in order to help those less fortunate and in need. Some notable recipients of monetary donations and sponsorships were the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, Bakersfield Homeless Center, CASA of Tulare, Friends of Tulare County, Food Link of Tulare County, Habitat for Humanity, Hands in the Community, Kaweah Delta, Lost Girls, Lindsay Dollars for Scholars, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Our Heroes Dreams, Porterville Breakfast Rotary, Porterville Parks & Leisure, Relay for Life, Saint Anthony’s Retreat, Sierra View Medical Center, The New Porterville Rescue Mission, The Source Visalia, United Way of Tulare/Visalia, Visalia Rescue Mission and Valley Oak SPCA.
Recipients of in-kind donations that consisted of raffle items, bonus cash and water, included Helping One Woman Porterville and Lindsay, The New Porterville Rescue Mission, Visalia Family Resource Center, Kern Literacy Council, Kern Valley River Senior Citizens, Bakersfield Senior Center, Central Valley Railroad Rescue, Central Valley Vietnam Veterans, Proteus, Wal-Mart DC, Porterville, Elks, Porterville Museum, Porterville Breakfast Rotary, Relay for Life Visalia, Tulare Kings Homeless Alliance, Springville Community Club, Soroptomist of Delano, United Way of Kern County, Visalia Senior Games, Visalia Breakfast Rotary, Zalud House Museum, Zonta Club of Porterville.
The Casino also held its annual benefit Golf Tournament in September which raised $55,000 for the Porterville Area Coordinating Council, Valley Adult Day Services of Porterville, Habitat for Humanity of Tulare/Visalia, AMVETS Department. of California and the Bakersfield Gleaners who each received $11,000 for their organizations.
$655,051 was raised in November and December during Eagle Mountain Casinos Veterans Fundraiser. Team Members and Guests joined together to raise the funds which were donated to AMVETS Department. of California ($200,000), Central Valley Honor Flight ($200,000), Tule
River Native Veterans Post of 1987 ($55,051), Honor Flight Kern County ($100,000), PFC Keith M Williams Memorial Fund ($8,400) and Wounded Heroes Fund of Kern County ($50,000.)
During 2019, thirteen non-profits utilized the Casinos Charter Fundraiser Program. The Program is a free service offered to organizations who are looking to raise funds for charity. The organizations fill a bus and charge a fee to attend a 4-hour trip to the casino, where riders then receive bonus cash and food vouchers. In turn, the money raised, is what the organization gets to keep for their fundraising efforts. An option to participate in a giveaway such as a slot tournament, is also available. Trips can be booked Monday – Friday with a 4 hour stay and at least 30 guests per bus trip. The amount of funds raised for 13 organizations who used the service in 2019 is $26,000.
